I really love the imagery, it works well with the typeface. But your right, right now it just seems like all the elements are placed on the page, they aren't really working with each other to form a cohesive poster. Try overlapping to show some interaction, or rotating something more on a diagonal to create something more dynamic? I'm just rambling things to try. The color scheme is nice, but the metal piece up top seems a little off with the white highlights in it and the creamish background.
I think china could be larger....i also think you could includesome fact about china...a brief one...but a china uses 60 percent of the worlds iron (or something like that)
I think that the poster would really benifit from a fact about chin, that is a great idea :) also I was thinking what is you experimented with a little more of a background to make the images pop? i did a little searching and found this one:
