Nice pictures. I like the various lighting in the stills. For other visual research, maybe look at the light spectrum (because of the rainbow)? The stop sign is cool, maybe you could find out more about the lights (LED?) on the stop sign. Also, check out neon lights, and what makes them light up (beside neon of course). It might be interesting to illustrate illuminated text for you final composition, could look sweet.
