Journey to Menomonee Falls

For my journey I decided to take a trip down to the downtown area of Menomonee Falls. There I spent the majority of the time walking alongside the Menomonee River and into Lime Kiln Park.

Facts:
--The natural falls found in the Menomonee River allowed for the settlers to create a roller mill and some lime kilns.
--Menomonee and Chippewa Indians used to live along the Menomonee River
--Menomonee in Native American means wild rice

Time of Journey: 2:30pm
Weather: Slightly overcast; it began to rain (drizzle) during my walk
Temperature: 58 degrees
