Erin Diamond Package
I want to do my packaging design on "clarity" using a diamond shape form. I will be branding clarity and inside will be "resolution"
Get Rhythm Jump-rope idea
So basically our idea is to make a stop motion video of people double-dutching, and the jump-ropes would create the lyrics of the song. We decided that since jump-roping is a fun, rhythmic activity and always a cure for the blues, it would be an appropriate fit. We would somehow pre-sculpt words out of rope, and then insert them into the frames of the video to line up with the lyrics in the song. Yeah!

Get Rhythm Ideas:
1. Use text magnets and have people rearrange them. Start with “get rhythm when you get the blues.
2. Exquisite corpse- start with one word and add on from before, hold signs and pass them between people, dancing.
3. Sad person turning pages of illustrator book that’s animated with type. At the end it says “get rhythm when you get the blues."
4. Make “get rhythm when you get the blues” with something like M & M’s then have people eat/move them to then be a brain that says “insane in the brain.”
5. Mashed potatoes-mashup, people write things and then smash it, rewrite.
6. Music staff with lines of text/music notes that turn into a rainbow.Possible Objects:
Cereal
Glow sticks

Clay
Candy hearts
Shoes/laces

turntable idea. thinkin about using two turntables set on some rustic wood texture. then the words would rotate on the turntables as the song plays. tryin to mash up a western feel with modern hip hop shiz. this way we can keep a consistent background that wont need to be changed back and forth.

Stop Motion Idea
To use bouncy balls.
Bounce different size balls to the beat of the music, and at major hits in the beat, the balls bounce up to spell different words from the song highlighting certain words. Or have bouncy balls bouncing down the sidewalk to the beat and at the end when they're bouncing to a stop, they roll to form the chorus of the song.
